Celeste and I had a lot of fun at Disneyland. It's certainly in contrast to all of the work that we have in Provo. My favorite ride was Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters. I think that the interactive nature of the ride makes it really fun. Instead of just sitting in a car looking at things around you, you have a gun and shoot all of the bad guys. They even keep your score for you and take a picture of you. Below is a picture of Celeste and me shooting the Evil Emperor Zurg. There's a shadow over my face, but Celeste still looks wonderful.
Celeste had four favorite rides at Disneyland (some of which were actually at California Adventure). She really liked Splash Mountain and It's a Small World at Disneyland. At California Adventure, her favorites were the Grizzly Rapids (a raft ride that left us a little wet afterwards--luckily it was a nice day) and the Tower of Terror. If we wanted our pictures from any of those, it would have cost a pretty penny. On Astro Blasters, the pictures were emailed to us for free.
